Project Overview
The Baltic Canal is an eleven-story residential building located near the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn New York, offering modern residences and exceptional amenities, such as a fitness center, rooftop terrace, and coworking spaces.
This was my first project at Command & Query Team. As a UI/UX designer, I collaborated closely with the team to create a visually striking and user-friendly website that effectively communicated the building’s sophisticated features. I was involved in all stages, from research and wireframing to visual design, ensuring a seamless and responsive digital experience that aligned with the building's modern aesthetic.

From Concept to Creation: The Design Process Behind Baltic Canal
The website we created for The Baltic Canal is clean, modern, and engaging, just like its architecture & branding. Ample white space, sharp messaging & interactive design keep visitors immersed, guiding them to experience the building in person. We gave the same attention to the neighborhood section, featuring local businesses & institutions through an interactive map.

Transforming Architecture into Digital Design
The amenities are the heart of The Baltic Canal, and the website we designed puts them front and center. Interactive cards and bespoke illustrations bring the experience to life, informing and delighting users. From luxury amenities like the gym, sauna & meditation room to the surrounding local shops and Brooklyn community, the website reflects the building’s elegant, modern aesthetic while offering all the essential information at a quick glance.

Adaptable and Efficient
The site was built to adapt. Typography, layout, and interaction scale cleanly across devices, with nothing lost on mobile. Performance stays sharp through lazy loading and a lightweight structure, keeping the experience fast, clear, and focused. The design holds up — quiet, practical, and intentional.
